On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed the The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 into law.
You as a homeowner will qualify for a tax credit up to $1,500.00, for residential HVAC products installed from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2010. This credit applies to 95% efficient furnaces and 16 SEER Central Air Conditioning Systems or higher.
